New Britain, Connecticut: 1950. Spiral bound. 132 pages. 23 x 15.5 cm. The First Lutheran Church of the Reformation was founded by Swedish immigrants in the 1870s. The volume opens with "Favorite Recipes - Ministers' Wives" and then proceeds to a Smörgasbord section. Our owner must have treasured this section as there are some visible stains and they have added annotations in pencil. Our owner also loved the cookie section as they made very specific annotations here as well. Recipes attributed to community members. Three copies listed in OCLC (9/11/26). Interior lightly foxed and stained. Covers lightly stained. Gray textured, illustrated wraps. Very good. Item #5106
