From its opening, the hotel was a center of the social life of Boston's elite. The Copley Plaza Hotel has been host to many famous people. Every US President, royalty from Greece, Thailand, and Saudi Arabia; along with celebrities including Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, and Elizabeth Taylor.
