Styled in the dos-à-dos fashion, one side reading through in Japanese, the other side reading through in English - with illustrations. A variety of recipes, mostly Japanese in origin - but some American favorites. By 1960, Girl Scouts of Japan became a full member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. This cookbook coincided with the 50th Anniversary of the Girl Scouts of Japan. Throughout the 1970s, there was ongoing interaction between Japanese Girl Scouts and American Girl Scout troops stationed in Japan, particularly in Okinawa. White illustrated wraps. Very good.
