This company, Stuart's, gave an extensive treatise on every type of hernia, and all the complications that come with this ailment in this pamphlet. Illustrated throughout, the company proclaimed to cure all hernias with their Plaster-Pads. In 1910, the company was taken to court under the Food and Drugs Act for shipping a product that was false and misleading. Although this was false advertising at its best, the production of this pamphlet is beyond reproach. Light toning to rear cover, otherwise pristine. Color illustrated wraps. Fine. Item #4482
