Cafe de Paris, known to be a meeting place of high society and the artistic and literary community, it was a landmark for the gourmets and fashionable not just of Paris, but worldwide. George Redon (1869-1943) was a painter, lithographer, poster artist, and engraver. In 1897, he opened his own lithographic workshop and supplied many cabarets and restaurants in the Montmartre. Covers lightly rubbed at spine, with a small loss to front corner, otherwise clean. Color lithographed wraps. Very good. Item #4456
