ND (c. 1940's). Sewn binding. 15 x 9 cm. A well organized, handwritten recipe booklet styled in the dos-à-dos fashion - recipes written one way going forward and written the other way from the back of the booklet. Most recipes are attributed to friends and family including: Strawberry Ice Cream, Peanut Butter Fudge, Pickled Peaches, Sweets for Children (nuts, raisins, figs, chopped and rolled in powdered sugar), and many more. A handwritten note is attached to the front: "This was from my maternal grandmother, Sarah E. Glass." Brown "Memorandum" booklet. Very good. Item #4201
