[SUFFRAGE] WOMEN IN THE HOME; How Far Can the Mother Control These Things?

Boston: c. 1919. Loose_leaf. 24 x 18.5 cm. Broadside expressing the infuriating position women find themselves in without the right to vote. "We are forever being told that the place of woman is in the HOME." But in reality, all of the tasks and achievements of women are dependent on the MEN who own these homes - which, in the end, is the reason for the call to have Equal Rights. The BESAGG was an American society committed to fight for women's suffrage in Massachusetts between the years 1901-1920. One of the BESAGG's main issues was to address the poor state in which women and their children were living and calling on all citizens, especially those who were disenfranchised, to press for equality. Paper is creased in the middle, otherwise clean. Pink printed paper. Very good. Item #3918
