[SUFFRAGE] VOTES FOR WOMEN! THE WOMAN'S REASON BECAUSE
Boston: The Libbie Printing Co., c. 1919. Loose_leaf. 24 x 18.5 cm. Broadside calling for EQUAL SUFFRAGE FOR MEN AND WOMEN. Summoning those who might not see the need for Equality, this broadside states "BECAUSE" ten times, while providing various arguments and each time, ending with "They should vote equally with men." The BESAGG was an American society committed to fight for women's suffrage in Massachusetts between the years 1901-1920. One of the BESAGG's main issues was to address the poor state in which women and their children were living and calling on all citizens, especially those who were disenfranchised, to press for equality.
