1926-1942. Hardcover. 499 pages. 40 x 17 cm. A rather extensive accounting of a family in Connecticut during the early to mid 20th century. Alongside daily expenditures is the detailed description of land leases, car and truck purchases, family deaths, and divorce. Other odd events recorded - major news accounts including convicted prisoners sentences and their crimes, a two page list of movie actors (male & female) from 1932, Movie titles of 1932-33, famous and non-famous deaths and where they were buried - all in all a curious look into a "normal" household in semi-rural Connecticut. Book is fully used, about 3/4 of the pages used. Handwritten in ink, pencil, and colored pen. Boards heavily soiled. Large cloth covered boards, embossed. Very good. Item #3915
