[MEDICAL] [ACCOUNT BOOK] Homeopathic and Medical Doctor's Account Book

London: 1904-1907. Hardcover. 501 pages. 33 X 16 cm. British doctor's daily account book. A-Z index of patients at the begining of the journal. Every journal entry begins with the patients name and address along with handwritten directions for treatment with detailed amounts of medications and schedule of remedies. Each patient had a designated number starting with 23405 and ending with 27610. Nearly all of the remedies are of a Homeopathic nature although there are also perscriptions for Morphine and Cocaine. Pasted in at the front of the book is a printed, two-sided "Schedule of Poisons - Within the Meaning of the Pharmacy Act, 1868", dated August 18, 1905. Newspaper clipping pasted in on the back of the rear cover for John Barker & Co., Ltd. - Dispensing Department - Physicians' Prescription Dispensed by Qualified Chemists. Interior clean, boards heavily rubbed and stained. Brown cloth covered boards. Good. Item #3898
