British breakfast menus designed for a family or party of six; each containing a dish of fish, a meat dish and a dish of eggs, any two of which can be selected if three is considered to be too many. Seven menus are composed for days of abstinence. The author was a British soldier in the British Indian Army, serving in Madras and writing regular articles about cookery for The Madras Main and the Daily News, using the assumed name - Wyvern. Kenney's time in India influenced his cooking style and helped introduce interesting culinary variety to his ex-pat readers. Four pages of London business advertisements.
