1/4" masonite

Medium / Ingredients
1/4" masonite cut to 7" x 7" dimension
1 c beeswax, instant coffee, turmeric
20' white cotton thread, un-twined
1 c blue wool, pulled apart and flattened
50' green wool thread
Process / Directions
melt 1/2 c of beeswax in a double boiler or crockpot, mix in 3 tablespoons
instant coffee
apply melted wax mixture onto masonite with an artist brush
onto bottom third of masonite
melt 1/2 c of beeswax in a double boiler or crockpot, mix in 3 tablespoons
turmeric
apply melted wax mixture onto masonite with an artist brush
onto remaining top of masonite
imbed green wool thread to taste using the back side of a
metal spoon
