1/4" masonite
7" x 7"
Medium / Ingredients
1/4" masonite cut to 7" x 7" dimension
1 c beeswax
10' white cotton thread, un-twined
5' jute rope, un-twined
blue food coloring

Process / Directions
melt 1 c beeswax in a double boiler or crockpot,
add several drops of dark blue food coloring
apply melted wax onto masonite using a small artist brush
embed un-twined jute and cotton thread into wax using the
backside of a metal spoon
