"P & B" Brand Knitting Wools was a leading British manufacturer of knitting yarn, established from two separate companies - J & J Baldwin and Partners (1770) & John Paton Son and Co. (1814). Accordion style trade catalog featuring "super scotch", "beehive scotch", "super or beehive vest wool", and "super crepe". Owner's stamp on front and back covers: C. Payne & Co., W.H Head & Son, Sloan St. Brompton Arcade. Two smaller panels (17 x 8) looped in to catalog. Interior crisp and clean, covers rubbed at edges. Black cloth covered boards, title and decorations in gilt, button closure. Very good. Item #3517
