Santa Barbara: The Santa Cruz Island Foundation, 1994. Hardcover. 101 pages. 23.5 x 15.5 cm. Limited Edition of 350 copies - 175 copies were printed for the Santa Cruz Island Foundation and Zamorano Club - as a keepsake on the occasion of the twenty-first biennial joint meeting of Roxburghe and Zamorano Clubs, October 8-9, 1994. Wine making lasted through six decades (1880-1930's) on the Santa Cruz Islands. After the Volstead Act instituted Prohibition, wine sales from Santa Cruz Island ceased. Pristine condition, specially designed end-papers depict Santa Cruz Island Company sheep tokens. Gilt-stamped burgundy cloth covered boards. Fine. Item #2880
