Detroit, Michigan: The J. L. Hudson Company, 1928. Wraps. 11 x 7 in. Two Menus:The J. L. Hudson Company was a retail department store chain based in Detroit, Michigan. Hudson's flagship store was the tallest department store in the world as of 1961, and, at one time, claimed to be the second largest department store in the United States, in terms of square footage. In Hudson's early years, their restaurant was located on the 7th floor and was known as The Café.  In 1928 the 13th floor became home to three formal dining rooms - The Georgian Dining Room, The Early American Dining Room, and the Pine Room. Some items on the menu include; Calfs Liver, Chicken Loaf, Mince Pie, Cold Tongue, and Lamb Chops. Beautiful color illustrated cover. Cover lightly rubbed. Toning to cover. Illustrated paper wraps.
