DeLand & Co. the manufacturers of DeLand’s Chemical Baking Powder. The first page has a child’s name written in cursive with Lewis County, NY under it. Deland’s was the second producer of baking powder in the country, beginning their manufacturing in 1852. The product came to be called Cap Sheaf Soda.
