Fairport, NY: H.A. & J. De Land & Co., 1880. 10 pages, 23.5 cm x 19 cm. Wonder-eyes and Whatfor Part II by Eleanor W. Talbot is a children’s book produced by H.A. & L.J. DeLand & Co. the manufacturers of DeLand’s Chemical Baking Powder. The first page has a child’s name written in cursive with Lewis County, NY under it. Deland’s was the second producer of baking powder in the country, beginning their manufacturing in 1852. The product came to be called Cap Sheaf Soda. Some blank pages stained from opposing page's illustrations, Binding torn in some places. Tan illustrated wraps, Near fine. Item #3069
