Promoted here, The Mary Boone kitchen cabinet - the result of "Women readers of the Ladies' Home Journal and the Saturday Evening Post". The Hoosier cabinet (also known as a "hoosier") was a free-standing kitchen cabinet that also served as a workstation; popular before built-in kitchen cabinetry was common. The cabinet featured storage for staples like flour, sugar and spices as well as workable parts - flour sifters, meat grinders, spice carousels, grocery list wheel, nutritional charts, cookbook holders, and a pullout stool.
