Presiding over the dinner was General Henry T. Allen, President of the Washington Branch of the English-Speaking Union - known for his exploration of Alaska in 1885 and extensive military service. Allen would die four months later. Grace was given by Reverend James E. Freeman, Bishop of Washington who officiated memorial services for Warren G. Harding, Woodrow Wilson, and William Howard Taft. Other speakers: Dr. Charles A. Richmond and Dr. Hugh Birckhead. Full dinner menu. Noticeable fold to center of menu with some minor stains to upper corner of cover. Paper menu. Very good. Item #2095
