[TRADE CATALOG] [LAUNDRY] Anchor Brand Wringers; Clothes/Wringers/Rubber Rolls/Mangles

Erie, Pennsylvania: Lovell Mfg. Company, 1916. Trade catalogue produced by the Lovell Manufacturing Company and their imprint, Anchor Brand to advertise various household products, wringers, and their repair parts. Full color illustrations on every page of each advertised product. Wringers, Rolls, and Mangles were used in conjunction with early washing machines, with only two major manufacturers: The American Wringer Company (Horseshoe Brand) and the Lovell Mfg. Company (Anchor Brand). Historically, the first wringer was a pair of human hands, with the next technology adding an anchor to a garment to free up hands to twist. Wringers and Mangles (usually larger with heavy duty springs) could remove water as well as remove wrinkles. Front cover features embossed design and lettering. Clean, crisp copy. Item #1760
