Hamilton B. Wills was a Toronto-based stock broker - photo showing women seated, possibly being educated by the three women working. By the turn of the century, the NYSE began hiring women to fill more senior roles that the traditional clerks and secretaries. In 1914, one estimate states, about 200 women worked in the Financial District [NY] as statisticians and office managers. Photo previously backed on board. Black and white photo, blind stamp.
