This card is one of the variations of Czar Baking Powder trading cards produced, and it was used as another form of advertising for this early brand. Czar was most prominent in Connecticut where it was produced by Steele & Emery, a grocer and importer of teas, coffees, spices, and cigars, turned manufacturers. Some foxing on one side.
